Passing By (2025-) is an ongoing series about fleeting moments: images taken while walking, driving, or moving through unfamiliar places.
Each photograph marks a brief encounter, with a place, a scene, a stranger, or a fragment of daily life unfolding in transit. Halifax, New York, and elsewhere become temporary stages for these moments: glimpses into spaces not fully entered, into lives observed from a distance.
The series explores the act of passing through, moving without arriving, noticing without seeking. What emerges are fragments of time and space, impressions at the edge of attention — brief, impermanent — scenes glimpsed, then gone.
